Those who are returning members are aware that the pool started working with a prospective buyer of the North Lot in the fall of 2017. If the deal is successful in 2018, the goal is to use the proceeds from the sale to reinvest in the pool’s facilities. At this time, the prospective buyer is working with their architects on the feasibility analyses and the City of Lakewood regarding the lot separation process and concept review. Until approved by the City, the deal cannot close. The pool board will continue to update members when significant milestones are reached during this process.
